Stepping is an installation tailored to the festival and which can take different forms. Large tiles on the floor or an artificial grass mat is fitted with small triggers that make the fragments play as you step on them. By stepping in different places each time, you get your own composition. If you do the same with several you get a polyphonic composition. By working with recordings of fragments of the pieces to be played or announcements of the festival, it becomes a special experience that can only be heard at this festival.
