Toasaves is a new project inspired by the rich folkloric repertoire of the iconic Flemish singer-artist Wannes van de Velde. Toasaves means "homeland" in the Antwerp dialect, the cosmopolitan city where Wannes grew up and came into contact with various cultures, leaving a mark on his musical quest.
The ensemble brings together artists with diverse backgrounds and travels through ancient music and oriental music.
