FROM BUENOS AIRES TO THE PAMPA,
WITH A THEATRICAL TANGO TWIST
"Folles d'amour," that's the name of this ensemble composed of four musicians eager to convey their emotions through tango. With years of experience on European stages, they passionately and intensely interpret the works of both past and present composers who have elevated tango to its noble status, such as Pablo Vazquez, Emilio Balcarce, Alejandro Schwarz, and Astor Piazzolla.
Teaming up with director Stéphan Druet and two Argentine dancers, Locas de Amor creates the show "Allô?" that takes us on a magical artistic journey between the city of Buenos Aires and the Argentine Pampa, through the adventures of a young confined couple seeking to break free from boredom. A fresh and poetic dialogue unfolds between tango music and dance-theatre. Art is used here as a means to transcend and reinvent daily life.
