Neve-Nobel: 100 years TOOTS
Belgian national jazz hero Toots Thielemans would have turned 100 on 29 April 2022. The godfather of Belgian jazz and our icon who collaborated with just about every big star on earth, the ever-charming 'kid from Brussels' with his 'little mouth instrument' who sang, whistled and played on his harmonica for 94 years and left us an impressive repertoire.
With nothing but respect and love for Toots, Jef Neve and Teus Nobel, who have been travelling the world together for many years in various line-ups, work on this repertoire in their purest collaboration as a duo.
Expect a selection from the jazz and film repertoire of Baron Thielemans, interspersed with stories about their own experiences with Toots but above all with beautiful and pure music.
